ICYMI, Mayday Parade has recently released their newest album ‘Sunnyland.’ The 13-track album is made up of 49 minutes of wonderful music. Whether it’s the instrumental parts or the lyrics, you will get hooked. I finally got the time to listen to it in full from the first song to the last in order. I absolutely loved it! Here are my thoughts on it:

First of all, the very first track, “Never Sure,” begins pretty fast and hard. I really like the different sounds between the verses, chorus, and bridge. Yes, most songs have different sounds within those parts, but this one is so different and unique. “Piece Of Your Heart” starts off pretty mellow but it does have an upbeat tempo to it. If you’re looking for an acoustic song or two, they have “Take My Breath Away” and “Where You Are,” both great tunes.

Overall I really enjoyed listening to this album. It has different sounds and melodies all throughout. Mayday Parade has not left their roots, but they also added new things to their songs, making them different than their older stuff. However, there is a similarity to the songs. Take a listen to it below and comment what you think of the album. Happy listening!
